Due to coronavirus spread all over the world, many of us have lost our job. This is a trauma to all of us and that is why people are moving to digital earning including me.
YouTube was my passion since my college times and I finally started making videos in 2019. It wasn’t great initially though.
After spending hours in learning and watching others, how they do it, I can say I am making average videos that are gaining attention now. However, it is still the beginning. Though I have 1,400 subscribers, my channel is not monetized due to less watch time. I hate this rule, to be honest.
I remember, I did a hell lot of hard work in the last year and still doing it yet no results.
I am getting frustrated now.
2 months ago, I was watching YouTube videos to check other ways to earn money online. Medium is one of them. I found the Aamir Kamal 🚀🚀🚀 video and got inspired. Thanks to him. I started writing on medium as I am in bad need of money. I am being too honest here and that is how I like it.
I was very happy initially when I got my first 0.37 $ in a month or so. I fall in love with the medium because it has no rule of getting monetized to earn money.
This is amazing about the medium. And also that we can write through the App.
Now, the challenge is. It is difficult to earn even a dollar a month if you write about general topics regardless of putting real scenarios. People would not read much.
To earn money on the medium it is important to write your journey on how you are making money or anything related to writing and making money. Then you may find it easier to earn.
The story doesn’t end here. I didn’t know this until now and kept writing which was hardly read by anyone (medium member).
My mistake was to keep checking the stats of Youtube and Medium. This made me so stressed and sick that I couldn’t wake up from bed for a week. Social Media is not so easy to handle. We need a lot of patience and smart work.
But I don’t wanna lose hope. I am still not well and writing while having a high fever. I believe the show must go on. One day will come soon when I will earn enough for my living.
This broken situation and sickness will always remind me of the value of money and time.
One advice to you is
Write what a writer on medium likes to read.
